Workplace performance can be significantly improved through the support of social productivity.

Enterprise Social Networks provide a place for your employees to make suggestions, regardless of hierarchy. Gather insights from your employees about ways to:

  • Improve customer satisfaction
  • Improve productivity
  • Cut costs
  • Improve employee satisfaction

Giving your employees a voice to suggest improvements can play a role in improving customer satisfaction, operations, and the bottom line.  It also can give them the recognition that their energy and ideas are appreciated and solicited by the organization.  This feeling of having a "voice" improves morale, and can lessen staff turnover.

To the extent that employees can find others with similar interests and concerns, help one another, and connect with other employees, they are far more likely to feel a part of the organization and to be loyal, engaged, and productive employees.  See, e.g., Blue Shirt Nation.
