And as many of us involved in technology know, sales and implementations are two wildly different creatures! GoLightly proved they can deliver on promises - without overselling.
How We Are Using It
Anyone who has been involved with the governance and communications for associations knows how cumbersome it is to follow discussions on emails, while keeping track of important attachments.
The libraries, the wiki, the blog, and the forum have refined the way we communicate. We designed forums to be a knowledge base. A member posts a question in the group to find out if her child’s car is insured on the way to school. An agent can review specifics on the member’s policy
information, and post the response so others who may have the same question, can find the answer.

Thanks to GoLightly, we’re now leading the 'New Communication Age.' As we’ve implemented social networking from members and management, we’re now able to be more organized on tracking organizational issues.
Social media has made us much more productive. We work smarter. We also never lose track of information with a complete history of every communication. When we have interesting information, we speak and tweet about it! We post announcements about our webinars in our online
community, and have received as many as 100 people signed up for our webinars!
We've completely changed the way we add value and communicate to our members. What once took hours and multiple emails, can be done in one breath on the GoLightly platform. Social media allows us respond to questions almost instantly; without having to answer the same question 30 times in separate emails from 30 unique policy holders.
FAIA is a nonprofit state trade association with over 1,700 member agencies. The organization supports legislation & its membership with education, social networks and information on the insurance industry.
