If you need to direct a sub-domain at GoLightly's servers and your domain name is hosted with GoDaddy, please use the following instructions.

GoDaddy supports method 1 - from - for redirecting internet traffic to GoLightly's IP addresses.
  1. Sign into your GoDaddy account
  2. Go to the Domains Tab, and choose "My Domains" from the drop-down.
  3. Choose your domain from the list.
  4. You will see a section called "Total DNS:" Under this section, click the link "Total DNS Control and MX Records"
  5. You will be offered a list with headers like "A (Host)" and "CNAMES (Aliases)". Scroll down until you see "NS (Name Servers)". Click the "Add New NS Record" button on the right side of the header.
  6. In the field "Host Name:" enter your community sub-domain (e.g., "community") as opposed to the entire URL (e.g., "")
  7. In the field "Points to Host Name:" enter "".
  8. TTL: can remain as their default of 1 Hour
  9. Repeat steps 5-8 but enter "community" and "" this time.
  10. Repeat steps 5-8 but enter "community" and "" this time.

When all of these steps are complete, please let your GoLightly project manager know that your community's subdomain has been directed to GoLightly's name servers using method 1.
