Hello Community Managers!

I am curious to 'meet' others who are using a combination of GoLightly and Joomla for their communities. I am learning more about each of these features and how they were designed for us to work together but would love to learn from another's experiences and share what I have learned.

Hi Francis, our client Family Justice is in fact using Joomla for the public web pages, and GoLightly for the community. In that case Joomla's sign in was replaced with GoLightly's sign in.

GoLightly.com (the public pages -- as opposed to the community pages) is also powered by Joomla. It is a nice combination. They are separate systems though -- Joomla doesn't manage any content in the GoLightly community site, and the GoLightly community site is not managing any of the Joomla pages.

What kind of management of GoLightly did you want to do from within Joomla?

California Park & Recreation Society is also using Joomla to handle its main website (open to the public) and GoLightly for our members only networking. I am very interested in anyone's attempt to integrate the two systems. We would like to know if and how anyone has been able to use the login features of GoLightly into the Joomla login areas. Or if anyone has been able to combine the content of both programs. For instance, if a member post a forum question, can it be automatically highlighted in Joomla's content?
