Default Who can create a Group Blog?

The privacy settings for the group in question determine who can create or edit the group's blog.

A group can be set up with the following permissions for editing the group blog:

1) anyone in the community
2) only participants in that group
3) only moderators of that group

If you want to see what the permissions are for a group, go to Groups page and click on the name of the particular group you are interested in. You will then be on that group's home page. Click on Edit Group Settings > Edit Privacy Settings and you will be able to see who is allowed to create/edit the group blog.

A person who can edit the blog should see either "Create Blog" (if the blog has not already been created yet) or "Edit Blog" in the lefthand menu bar when they are on the group's home page.
