If you need to direct a sub-domain at GoLightly's servers and your domain name is hosted with Network Solutions, please use the following instructions.
Sign into Network Solutions and click on the "Manage Account" button at the top right of your screen. In the "Account Manager" area, go to the "My Products & Services" tab. Click on "Edit DNS" link. Next to "Advanced DNS Settings", click the "Edit" link. Under the "Update Advanced DNS for..." section for your domain, click the "Edit A Records" button. You will find a form for adding subdomains to the left of your primary domain. Enter two lines: community that has TTL 7200 and Numeric IP 38.127.224.111 www.community that has TTL 7200 and Numeric IP 38.127.224.111 After clicking Continue you will be taken back to the "Update Advanced DNS for..." section for your domain. Scroll down on the page to the "Mail Servers (MX Records)" section. Click the "Add Sub-Domain" link. You will find a form for adding a subdomain to the left of your primary domain. Enter the following information: community with priority 10 and TTL 7200 and Mail Server mailer.golightly.com After you click the "Save >>" button, you will be asked to confirm. Now repeat the process for a second MX record: Scroll down on the page to the "Mail Servers (MX Records)" section. Click the "Add Sub-Domain" link. You will find a form for adding a subdomain to the left of your primary domain. Enter the following information: mailer.community with priority 10 and TTL 7200 and Mail Server mailer.golightly.com After you click the "Save >>" button, you will be asked to confirm. When all of these steps are complete, please let your GoLightly project manager know that you have added A and MX records for your community's subdomain, directing internet traffic for these subdomains to GoLightly's servers.
