Blocking Members

There are times where you may want to prevent Members from being able to interact with your Community Network. (This is called "blocking" or "suspending".) For example, a Member may be behind on their membership dues, or they may not belong in your Community Network. The setting to control this is on the "Edit Profile" page.

By clicking "BLOCK access to site" you will prevent this person from:

  • Signing in to your Community Network
  • Sending an email
  • Requesting their password

They will still be able to receive messages from Groups they are subscribed to.

A suspended person will still appear in the People directory. If you would like to hide the suspended person from the People directory, click the "HIDE this person" link. This link only appears when a person is currently suspended.
