The Difference Between The Community Network And Our Public Web Site

Q. What's the difference between the Community Network and our public Web site?

A. The Community Network has a different purpose and a different audience from a Web site for the general public. Public Web sites tend to be intended for the general public, and to primarily serve as information, sales or public relations outlets. The Community Network is a community intranet, intended to facilitate activities and create a sense of community among participants (see What is an Intranet).
